Sonic and friends accidentally end up on Earth indirectly because of Doctor Eggman (as usual). They meet up with a human boy who ends up befriending and helping them. Along with finding a way home, they also have to butt heads with Eggman for the Chaos Emeralds and stop him from his shenanigans.
